The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) as an academic and service unit of all other departments provides liberal education, foundations of professional courses and general areas of human knowledge for students’ integral development and future employability.
CAS also offers the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (BS Mathematics), Bachelor of Arts in English Language (AB-English) & Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (AB- Mass Comm) which are granted Level II 3rd Reaccredited Status of the Philippine Association of Colleges & Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACU-COA).
The AB-English degree prepares students for future careers in consultancy, language coaching and tutoring, writing and language training. Graduates of COC-PHINMA can be employed in the fields of language training, management, research, customer service, call center operations, publishing, arts & literature, advertising, media, public relations and curriculum & resource material development.
The AB- Mass Comm degree train students for future careers in management, research writing, editing and acting. Graduates of COC-PHINMA can work in the fields of publishing, print and broadcast media, customer service, call center operations, advertising and public relations.
The BS-Mathematics degree prepares students for future careers in all sectors of society such as Math professors data analysts, statisticians, researchers, businessmen, office workers (both in private and government establishments) and mathematical software developers.
BACHELOR OF ARTS IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The Bachelor of Arts in English Language is a comprehensive four-year course that prepares students for future careers in language consultancy, language coaching and tutoring, writing and language training. AB English Language graduates from COC can expect to be employed in the following fields: language training management, research, customer service, call center operations, publishing, arts & literature, advertising, media, public relations, and curriculum & resource material development.
