Scholarships

1. Presidential Scholarship

The scholarship aims to bring in the best and the brightest students preferable from the national high schools.

Benefits:

  • 100% covereage of fees (tuition, miscellaneous, and laboratory fees)

  • An allowance of PhP 4,000 for 10 months every school year (including summer if required by the program)

Eligibility:

  1. The student must be a senior student in a national high school or a science high school.

  2. The student must be one of the 10 best students of selected national high schools.

  3. The student must pursue Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED), or Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA).

  4. The student must pass the scholarship exam.


Maintenance

  1. The student must have a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.75.

  2. The student must not have a grade lower than 2.

  3. The student must not have a mark of Incomplete, Dropped, or Failed.

  4. The student must have a full load.

  5. The student must not have any disciplinary sanction.

  6. The student must do 10 service hours per week.

2. Valedictorian Scholarship

The Valedictorian Scholarship is given to valedictorians in any high school with at least 100 graduates in the batch.

Benefits:

  • 100% coverage of tuition fees

Eligibility:

  1. The student must be a valedictorian of a high school with at least 100 graduating students in his/her batch.


Requirements:

  • The student must submit the following documents to the Scholarship In-Charge at the Center for Student Development and Leadership, on or before the start of 1st Semester Enrolment :

    1. Certificate that he/she is the valedictorian of his/her batch

    2. Form 137
    3. Certificate of Good Moral Character

    4. NSO Birth Certificate

Maintenance

  1. The student must be part of the Dean’s List.

  2. The student must not have a mark of Incomplete, Dropped, or Failed

  3. The student must have a full load.

  4. The student must not have any disciplinary sanction.

  5. The student must do 10 service hours per week.

3. Salutatorian Scholarship

The Salutatorian Scholarship is given to valedictorians in any high school with at least 100 graduates in the batch.

Benefits:

  • 50% coverage of tuition fees

Eligibility:

  1. The student must be a salutatorian of a high school with at least 100 graduating students in his/her batch.


Requirements:

  • The student must submit the following documents to the Scholarship In-Charge at the Center for Student Development and Leadership, on or before the start of 1st Semester Enrolment :

3. Dean's List Full Scholarship

 

Benefits:

  • 100% coverage of tuition fees

Eligibility:

  1. The student must be one of the top 10 students on the Dean’s List (not Presidential, Gov. Moreno, OJH, 1 of 100, and College scholars)


Requirements:

  • The Official Dean’s List generated by the Registrar’s Office every semester

Maintenance

  1. The student must be a part of the top 10 of the Dean’s List who are not Presidential, Gov. Moreno, OJH, 1 of
    100, or College scholar.

  2. The student must not have a mark of Incomplete, Dropped or Failed.

  3. The student must have a full load or at least 21 units for irregular students.

  4. The student must not have any disciplinary sanction.

4. Dean's List Half Scholarship

 

Benefits:

  • 50% coverage of tuition fees

Eligibility:

  1. The student must belong to Top 11-25 of the Dean’s List (not Presidential, Gov. Moreno, OJH, 1 of 100, and College scholars)


Requirements:

  • The Official Dean’s List generated by the Registrar’s Office every semester

Maintenance

  1. The student must be a part of the top 11-25 of the Dean’s List who are not Presidential, Gov. Moreno, OJH, 1 of
    100, or College scholar.

  2. The student must not have a mark of Incomplete, Dropped or Failed.

  3. The student must have a full load or at least 21 units for irregular students.

  4. The student must not have any disciplinary sanction.

5. Handog Kaibigan Scholarship

Benefits:

  • 50% coverage on Tuition and Miscellaneous

 

Eligibility:

  1. The student must be an incoming freshman.

  2. The student must belong to a low-income family.

  3. The student must pass the scholarship exam.


Requirements:
The student must submit the following documents at the Marketing Department, on or before the set deadline:

  1. Certificate of Indigency

  2. Form 137

  3. Certificate of Good Moral Character

  4. NSO Birth Certificate

 

Maintenance:

  1. The scholarship extends for the normal life of the chosen program upon enrollment in first year.

  2. Must be able to render 80 hours/semester.

6. Student Assistantship & Student Marshal Scholarship

Benefits:

  • 100% coverage on tuition


Eligibility:

  1. The student must belong to a low-income family.

  2. The student must not have any failing grade.

  3. No disciplinary record

  4. Must enroll a maximum of 24 units only.


Requirements:

  1. Must pass the exam.

  2. Must submit two (2) of the following documents;

  3. Income Statement of Parent/s

  4. Proof of Billing (of the current month)/Certificate of Indigency

  5. Good Moral Certificate

  6. Medical Certificate

  7. Report Card (for freshmen)

  8. Photocopy of Grade Report from Registrar (For old student)

  9. 2x2 photo

 

Maintenance:

  1. The student must not have a mark of Incomplete, Dropped, or Failed.

  2. The student is required twenty (20) hours service service every week to his/her office/canteen/food strip assignment.

  3. The student is required to submit monthly attendance signed by the immediate supervisor to CSDL.

  4. SA’s are required to attend monthly meetings, and other institutional activities.

7. Athletic Scholarship

The Athletic Scholarship is exclusively available to students who are part of the basketball team.
 

Benefits:

  • 100% or 50% of tuition, as recommended by Head Coach

 

Eligibility:

  • The student must be recommended by the head coach of the basketball team.


Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Recommendation by the Head Coach

  2. Certificate of Good Moral Character

  3. NSO Birth Certificate
     

Maintenance:

  1. No failing grade, of good moral conduct, must not have been suspended during the previous term for disciplinary reasons

  2. Fit to play, recommended by the Head Coach

  3. Renewable depending on performance evaluation by the Head Coach

8. Scholarship Benefit for Employee Dependents

The benefits are available to:

  • Regular non-teaching employees

  • Tenured faculty member

  • Full-time contractual/probationary faculty, who have served at least 2 semesters in the institution

For married/single employees:

  • A spouse may avail of a 50% scholarship for the Graduate School Department.

  • Dependent children or siblings may avail of a scholarship subject to the guidelines below:

Limitations:

  • Maximum of four (4) children or siblings at any given point in time

  • Aged 21 years or younger at the time of registration

Coverage:

  • 100% scholarship for Elementary, Secondary, or Tertiary Programs for the three (3) eldest children in the institution; or for one (1) sibling

  • 50% scholarship for Elementary, Secondary, or Tertiary Programs for the fourth

  • 50% scholarship for Elementary, Secondary, or Tertiary Programs for the rest of the siblings

9. Scholarship for the Dependents of PHINMA Company Employees

 

Benefits:

  • 25% coverage on Tuition

Eligibility:

  • Either the student must be a child of a married PHINMA employee or the student must be a sibling of an unmarried PHINMA employee

Requirements:

  1. Certificate of Employment

  2. NSO Birth Certificate
     

Maintenance:

  • As long as parent/sibling remains a PHINMA employee

10. Children of Alumni Scholarship

Benefits:

  • 10% coverage on Tuition

Eligibility:

  • The student must be a child of a PHINMA COC alumnus/alumna

Requirements:

  1. Transcript of Records or Diploma of Parent/s

  2. NSO Birth Certificate of child/children
     

11. Sibling Discount

The student must be a sibling of another student enrolled in PHINMA COC.

Benefits:

2nd child enrolled - 10% discount on Tuition Fee

3rd child enrolled - 25% discount on Tuition Fee

4th child enrolled - 50% discount on Tuition Fee

Requirements:

  • NSO Birth Certificates of children

Maintenance:

  • As long as children are currently enrolled

12. FUN RUN Scholarship

 

Benefits:

  • 100% coverage on Tuition

 

Eligibility:

  1. Must be an incoming freshman or sophomore student

  2. The student must belong to a low-income family.

  3. The student must be endorsed by the dean.

  4. Satisfactory Academic Standing


Requirements:

The student must submit the following documents CSDL office on or before the set deadline:

  1. Certificate of Indigency

  2. Form 137

  3. Certificate of Good Moral Character

  4. NSO Birth Certificate

  5. Must have an endorsement from the College Dean.
     

Maintenance:

  1. The scholarship extends for the normal life of the chosen program upon enrollment in first year.

  2. Must be able to render 80 hours service duty per semester.

  3. The student must not have any failing grade.

  4. No disciplinary record.

FINANCIAL AIDS

 

STUDENT EDUCATIONAL LOAN

Students can apply for an Educational Loan to ensure that they secure their Examination Permit on time. The school provides such loan to help students who have insufficient funds to pay first periodical and second periodical. Interview of parents is required. Application forms can be obtained at the CSDL.

WORK-TO-STUDy (W2S)
W2S is a part-time job placement program. It serves students who want to earn while studying:

  • In-campus: placement in short-term tasks in school such as enrollment and special projects (vacancy is need-based)

  • Off-campus: placement in companies needing hourly workers or contractual employees

SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYMENT OF STUDENTS (SPES)

An employment facilitation strategy in partnership with DOLE. The Program aims to help poor but deserving students pursue their education by providing income or augment their income through encouraging their employment during summer breaks and/or Christmas vacations.

SKILLS ENHANCEMENT AND EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENTS (SEEDS)

An employment facilitation strategy in partnership with Jollibee Foods Corporation. The program aims to help qualified students pursue post-secondary education through the provision of financial assistance and to enable students to acquire job competencies – skills, attitudes, and work values through in-store training, thus enhancing employability upon completion of post-secondary education.
